兩種想法與做法—瞭解什麼才是真正該追求的「能力」

對於同一件事情,你可以有兩種想法與做法:

一般的:學生團嘛!就用比較差的器材、不用彩排、有的人也不會感激你還給他這麼大的場的,所以不要自己找罪受,讓他們熱血一下喊一喊,台下一堆加油打氣聲就夠了......

我的:你有沒有想過?同樣的器材與樂器、同樣專業的PA、同樣的幕後團隊、甚至同樣的場地

國際級的音樂家或老師,一出手就是不一樣?我們也沒有什麼更高的規格或是拿什麼限定的器材或樂器,但是一群人聚在一起,就可以一起玩出令人感動且說服力十足的音樂呢?

而你也可以藉由這樣的“比較”,激勵自己更接近那種level嗎?

這才是我的想法與做法,也希望年輕樂手們接收到這個訊息了!

For most of you it's the first time you played jazz in fount of public, and I hope it won't be the last time~

Maybe you were not satisfied for what you played, or you didn't hear the others well enough by the live situation we had, but, it means that you CARE about the MUSIC! And it's the right attitude, let's all make a progress for the next performance!

Once again thank you for the trust and music~

Just remember, Talent is what you have, but to show your talent, you always need TEAM WORK, this is also the meaning of JAZZ~
